Uncertainty

Well, hello there!
Have you ever committed yourself on doing something at one point in time, and then the next moment, you just felt like giving up?
Have you ever questioned yourself why you chose to do this when you know that the drive to continue doing it will just die down eventually?
Personally, i did.

I remember how I always wanted to give up in my Pre-university course in the first year, and it lasted until one-third of my second year. The options was to get into a polytechnic, overseas college (lol) and arts school (BIG LOL - knowing that i dont have any talents at all). Then everytime I made up my mind to quit pre-uni, there was always something that hold me back. I don't know what it was, but I was surely reluctant to leave pre-uni when my mind decided to just gave up on it. I'm thankful I didn't quit, and instead lasted till the end. (All thanks to my goals and my family's moral support)

So, here's what I want to leave you all with.

If you ever felt like giving up on something, always go back to why you've decided on taking it up in the first place. Was it because you were forced to do it? Or was it because you were the one who decided to take the thing up? If it was the former, then please do give up on doing it. Do what you love to do. But if it was the latter, then you have to set your priorities right. Remind yourself that you were the one who wanted to do it, so only you can end it. Control the surroundings, and not let them influence you. Give some time and think it through thoroughly before deciding on anything.
If you're still uncertain, please your God is always with you, seek help through prayer. You will surely get the answer. Don't pressure yourself thinking so hard, when you can seek help through prayer.
And to my Muslim brothers and sisters, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once said: If Allah wants to do good to somebody, then He will afflict him trials.
So, if you're on the verge on giving up, take it as a trial and believe there is something sweet waiting for you at the end. So, don't give up on whatever you do! Surely life isn't easy, and to achieve what you want, no way will it ever be easy.
I know it is easy said than done, but honestly, i've been through it just recently, and I'm grateful I trust Allah with His plans. Alhamdulillah, the power of prayer.

Anyway, Press on!
Don't give up!
