Last Month of the Year

Scary how time flies really fast, isn't it?
I still remember the first day of school as a Senior.
I still remember how I felt really scared for the major exams until I felt like running away, and not sitting for the papers at the year end because I was That scared.

But now?
We're already at the last month of the year.
All that's left is just a few days before the year comes to an end. Well, I will not say the typical, "Live Life to the Fullest." because I think that's just (as harsh as it would sound, I'm sorry) stupid.
Even if now wasn't December, and if now was the middle of the year, shouldn't we be living life to the fullest every single day? Shouldn't we still be grateful for the opportunity to live for another day?
But, I do understand why we tend to say those five words right now. Because at some point in time, in the middle of the year, we were all stressed with life and our commitments, be it school or work. We have deadlines to meet, many things to revise/do, yet we had "little time" and when we are finally done with them, we are able to enjoy life and finally 'live life to the fullest'.

As the year comes to a close, I have to admit I am grateful for 2013, and I hope you do too.
Although it was one of the toughest year in my entire life, I am glad I didn't live a day feeling regretful.
It would be impossible for me to overcome 2013 easily, if it's without my family.
The group of people that I will see the first thing in the morning and also the last before I go to sleep.
The group of people who continue to bring sunshine to my life.
Thank you, Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister. For always tolerating me, and loving me.

Anyway, let's welcome 2014 with optimism. Only if we greet it well and happily can we then live life stress-free. (:
Let's all be grateful for the people who had been there for us, have been there for us and are still there for us.
Those who have left permanently, let's pray for them so that they will be just fine where ever they are now.
Let's all forgive people, and forget whatever they have done to us.
 Like how Steve Maraboli said:
The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.

Let's all continue living the remaining days of our life happily. (:
Cherish the remaining days of 2013 and have a happy year ahead, loves, because tomorrow is not guaranteed, but today is.
